Sharrie Williams emcees Missing Our Mothers ceremony in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Some daughters honored a very special lady Saturday morning who may be gone, but is still close to their hearts.

The 3rd annual Missing Our Mothers remembrance ceremony took place at the Hilton on City Avenue.

The event, held by VITAS Healthcare, helps people work through their grief.

Action News' own Sharrie Williams was also on hand to emcee.
