Police: Woman steals cash box, cell phone from art studio in Queen Village

QUEEN VILLAGE (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are searching for a thief who targeted an art studio in Queen Village last month.

The female suspect was caught on surveillance around 9:45 p.m. on March 31 inside Painting with a Trust art studio on the 600 block of East Passyunk Avenue.

While the employees were out of sight cleaning up after a class, the woman grabbed the cash box and an employee's cell phone from the counter and then fled the scene.

If you see this suspect do not approach, contact 911 immediately.
