Hit-and-run victim to graduate from Temple University

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A Temple University student is showing the true meaning of determination and perseverance.

Rachel Hall, who was critically injured in a hit-and-run nearly one year ago, will graduate next week, achieving her goal of walking alongside her classmates.

On April 29, 2015, Rachel was riding her bike in North Philadelphia when she was struck by a car, which fled the scene.

The driver of the striking vehicle, 18-year-old Robert Roberts, had been driving on a learners' permit.
