NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) --Police are investigating a tractor-trailer left unattended near a U.S. Navy support facility in Northeast Philadelphia.
The big rig was reported before 7:30 a.m. Thursday in the 700 block of Tabor Avenue in Philadelphia's Lawncrest section.
Video from Chopper 6 HD showed a tractor-trailer parked on the shoulder of a two-lane divided highway.
Philadelphia police units were on the scene. The back of the truck was open and officers were inspecting the contents.
Traffic was being detoured away from the area.
The tractor-trailer is parked near Naval Support Activity Philadelphia, a U.S. military facility.
