A big donation for transition housing

AMBLER, Pa. (WPVI) -- A Montgomery County congregation is giving back in a big way.

First Presbyterian Church of Ambler donated 300 thousand dollars to the Inter-Faith Housing Alliance Thursday.

That money will purchase a home on Forest Drive in Ambler, to be used as a residence for homeless families while they get back on their feet.

Organizers are planning to name the transition house "Hope Forest".
