Police and fire crews search for body in Schuylkill River

UNIVERSITY CITY (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police and firefighters are searching for a person who may be missing in the Schuylkill River.

It's not clear how the person ended up in there, but police and fire crews are searching the water between the South Street and 34th Street bridges.

The search started shortly after 2:30 p.m.
