The mother of a group of ducklings was killed trying to help her babies trapped in a sewer in Delaware.

Firefighters were called around 8:30 a.m. Saturday when the mother duck was seen frantically pacing over a sewer gate along Centerville Road and Old Capitol Trail in Cranston Heights.
