Search team discovers body in Burlington County

New Jersey State Police are investigating the discovery of a body in Burlington County on Sunday morning.

The discovery was made around 11:16 a.m. in the area of Route 70 and U.S. Route 206 in Southampton Township.

According to investigators, the discovery was made by a search team that was out looking for a man who has been missing for a year.

However, there was no word on if the body was that missing man.

In fact, police say, body was too badly deteriorated for them to even immediately determine the gender.
