CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- The search is on for the man who robbed a Center City bank.
The robbery took place around 5:10 p.m. Monday at the Republic Bank located at 1601 Walnut Street.
Police say the suspect presented a note to a teller.
After receiving an undetermined amount of cash, the man fled and remains at large.
Police say the money was recovered a block away after the dye pack was set off.
The suspect is described as a white male, 25 to 35 years old, 190 pounds, 6' to 6'2, with a scruffy beard, wearing a charcoal jacket, dark shirt, blue jeans, dark knit cap, glasses and was carrying a blue folder.
