Instant online access to some shore beaches

SEA ISLE CITY, N.J. (WPVI) -- Buying beach badges just went high tech in three New Jersey towns.

There's now an app for that.

Sea Isle City, Longport, and Ventnor are rolling out the online payment option this year.

The app allows people to buy tags on the spot using their smartphones.

The app can also be used now to purchase badges at preseason, discounted prices.
