Honoring those who step up to make the community safer

GLOUCESTER TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- The Gloucester Township police department Wednesday night honored several officers who've stepped up to make the community a safer place to be.

Their superiors say these officers went above and beyond the call to duty to keep dangerous criminals off the streets.

This is the 7th year for this event.
