2 arrested in robbery of elderly, disabled man

NEWARK, Del. (WPVI) -- Two men are facing criminal charges after allegedly attacking and robbing a disabled, elderly man.

Stephon Rivera and Isaac Chattin were taken into custody earlier this week.

Detectives say the pair followed a 74-year-old disabled man as he walked home from a Sunoco gas station on South Main Street in Newark.

When the victim got near West Park Place and Elkton Road, he was grabbed from behind and his wallet was taken.

The man wasn't hurt.

Investigators looked at surveillance video from the Sunoco and identified the suspects.

Rivera and Chattin are now behind bars.
