Woman seriously injured in Wilmington shooting; 3 in custody

WILMINGTON (WPVI) -- Three people are in custody after a shooting that left a woman seriously injured in Wilmington.

It happened around 7 p.m. Sunday on the 100 block of South Franklin Street.

There police found a 24-year-old woman inside a home, suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body.

The victim was rushed to the hospital. Her condition is unknown at this time.

Three people have been taken into police custody.

The investigation is ongoing.
