Police: Man stabbed for cell phone in West Philadelphia

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are looking for three to four men who attacked and robbed a man of his cell phone in West Philadelphia.

The incident happened just before 4 a.m. Thursday on the unit block of North Ruby Street.

The victim was stabbed twice in the stomach.

He was rushed to the hospital in serious, but stable condition.

Police also found a crime scene inside a nearby house.

It is unclear if it's connected to the stabbing.
