Suspect in custody after shooting in West Kensington

WEST KENSINGTON (WPVI) -- Philadelphia Police have a suspect in custody after a shooting that happened Saturday afternoon in broad daylight.

It happened around 3:30 p.m. in the 700 block of East Willard Street in West Kensington.

Police say one person was shot and rushed to Temple University Hospital.

There was no immediate word on the victim's condition or what led to the shooting.
