Woman critical after being shot 6 times in Tioga

TIOGA (WPVI) -- A young woman was critically injured after being shot at least six times in the Tioga section of Philadelphia.

The shooting happened around 1 a.m. Sunday on the 3800 block of North 13th Street.

Responding officers found more than 30 shell casings on the ground.

The 22-year-old was taken to Temple University Hospital in critical condition.

Two men were also hospitalized after apparently being injured while trying to escape the gunfire.

No arrests have been made.
