Driver rescued after pickup truck goes into Delaware County creek

TINICUM TWP., Pa. -- Rescue crews had to help out today in Delaware County after police found a car in the water.

The call came in just before 12 p.m. Monday for the incident in the 500 block of Stevens Drive in Tinicum Township.

Police say the driver lost control of his vehicle on I-95 and it went into shallow water near Exit 10.

The view from Chopper 6 showed the truck partially submerged in an extension of the Darby Creek.

The driver was taken to Crozier Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
