Police: Homeowner shoots and kills burglar in Wissinoming

WISSINOMING (WPVI) -- Police say a homeowner shot and killed a burglar in the Wissinoming section of Philadelphia.

The shooting happened around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday on the 4600 block of Higbee Street.

Police say a 28-year-old man was shot in the head.

Police also say another shooting victim turned up at the hospital.

They're trying to figure out if that person was also connected to this incident.

Police have not released the name of the homeowner.

They also have not said what charges, if any, they plan to file in this case.
