Teen killed ID'd in triple shooting in North Philadelphia

A triple shooting has left an 18-year-old man dead, and two others wounded in North Philadelphia.

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police have identified the 18-year-old man, killed in a triple shooting in North Philadelphia.

The incident happened around 10:55 p.m. Friday on the 3300 block of North 13th Street.

Police say James Wilford, who had just had a birthday, was shot once in the back of the head.

He was pronounced dead on the scene by medics.

A 20-year-old man suffered a graze wound to the thigh and foot. A third victim, a 19-year-old man, suffered a graze wound to the arm.

Police found them both at Temple University Hospital after they walked in for treatment.

Police found more than two dozen shell casings in the middle of the block.

There is no word on what led up to the shooting.

So far, no arrests have been made.

The victims' names have not been released.
