A man died in a fast-moving fire that ripped through a house in Allentown.

ALLENTOWN, Pa. (WPVI) -- Authorities say the death of a man found in a burning Allentown home early Tuesday was a suicide.

The Lehigh County coroner's office says 47-year-old Andrew Dalrymple was pronounced dead at his home when the fire was extinguished.

An autopsy Tuesday concluded that he killed himself.

It took firefighters about 20 minutes to put out the flames that were consuming the small, two-story home.

The body was found on the second floor of the residence.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
