Man arrested for allegedly ramming Willistown police car

WILLISTOWN TWP., Pa. (WPVI) -- Authorities have captured the man wanted for ramming a Willistown, Chester County police vehicle last week.

Tyrell Winchester was apprehended by U.S. Marshals at 19th and Market streets in Center City Philadelphia Wednesday.

The ramming incident occurred around 4 p.m. last Thursday along Route 3 in Willistown Township near the Delaware County line.

Police were pursuing a stolen car out of Lower Merion when the Willistown police car was struck by that vehicle.

The officer inside was not hurt.
