PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- It's almost Memorial Day weekend and one local lifestyle expert is helping you kick your BBQ or pool party up a few notches with some easy and inexpensive outdoor entertaining ideas.

Let's be honest - everyone wants something that looks like Pinterest or something cute to post on Instagram but we don't want to spend a lot of time. Everything here is easy and under 5 bucks!

Tina LaMorte, lifestyle expert and event designer from Oh So Fabulous, has some party suggestions that are Instagram-worthy without breaking your budget.

First, to the table and a chic, but cheap touch!

"This is a regular bandanna that you can get at any craft store. They come in packs, I just wrapped twine around it stuck cutlery in and did a nice little pocket fold and that's it," said LaMorte.

Keeping the food fresh in the hot sun is not always the easiest task.

LaMorte says reuse any covered canister or jar you have around the house and add fun little chalk labels.

"These were 50 cents at a craft store," said LaMorte.

They're also perfect for protecting those summer salads.

"You can put them in a bucket of ice so they stay cool," said LaMorte.

And then you don't have to waste food and throw them away once the party is over.

For the tables, display those citronella candles in style!

"So you know these little flags - my kids collect them at every parade and we have like 50 at my house," said LaMorte.

She suggests you repurpose them in a pretty, patriotic way

"So you can use a jar like a pickle jar - I was being lazy - and bought one in a craft store but it was $2," she said.

Finally - to the cold sips. LaMorte says to keep them covered with cupcake wrappers!

"I get so anxious with bugs and feel like they are always finding my delicious drinks," she said. "I just stuck it upside down in a mason jar with a straw and no buggies!"
