DELANCO, N.J. (WPVI) --Chopper 6 was overhead as a man was rescued from a tree after he suffered an electrical shock in Delanco, Burlington County.
The incident happened around 1:15 p.m. Friday in the 1000 block of Burlington Avenue.
Rescuers tell Action News that the man was up in the tree cutting part of it down when he came in contact with live electrical wires.
He was knocked unconscious, rescuers say, but fortunately he was secured by a rope.
That rope was the only thing that kept him from falling, officials on the scene said.
The video from Chopper 6 showed the man being brought onto a ladder by firefighters, and then lowered to the ground.
The man was going in and out of consciousness, rescuers say. Once on the ground, he was quickly placed in an ambulance.
He is now in stable condition at Cooper University Hospital.
