PECO demonstrates the importance of STEM

DARBY, Pa. (WPVI) -- Students in Delaware County got to learn all about electricity Friday from the experts.

PECO engineers and line workers visited Blessed Virgin Mary School in Darby.

They taught the kids how electricity is generated and distributed.

They also held a safety demonstration and told students what to do in an electric emergency.

PECO's visit was part of the science, technology, engineering and mathematics curriculum, also known as STEM.
