Police: Victim shot during Germantown attempted robbery

Police have a suspect in custody after an attempted robbery that turned violent in the Germantown section of Philadelphia.

Police have a suspect in custody after an attempted robbery that turned violent in the Germantown section of Philadelphia.

It happened shortly after 10 a.m. Saturday along the 4600 block of Morris Street.

Police say the victim was shot in the leg during a robbery attempt.

The victim was taken to Temple University Hospital where they are listed in stable condition.

The suspect was arrested a few blocks away.
