Volunteers work to improve a life

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A North Philadelphia man will soon be the proud owner of a new home.

Construction is just getting started on that home, at 16th and Fontain Streets in North Philadelphia.

The home is a reality thanks to Habitat for Humanity and Thrivent Financial.

The new homeowner, members of Thrivent and other volunteers will work throughout the next year to build this new home.
