Police: Altercation leads to Strawberry Mansion stabbing

STRAWBERRY MANSION (WPVI) -- An altercation between two men led to a stabbing in Philadelphia's Strawberry Mansion section, police say.

It happened around 3 a.m. Sunday on the 2300 block of Cecil B. Moore Avenue.

Police say during the altercation, one man pulled out a knife and stabbed the other in the chest and left arm.

The suspect ran from the scene.

The 23-year-old victim was taken to Temple University Hospital in stable condition.
