Three people are hospitalized after a car slammed into a utility pole in Montgomery County.

UPPER PROVIDENCE, Pa. (WPVI) -- Three people are hospitalized after a car slammed into a utility pole in Montgomery County.

It happened around 5:30 p.m. Sunday along Black Rock Road near Hollow Road in Upper Providence, Pennsylvania.

Police say the driver of the car lost control, slamming into a utility pole.

Three people were taken to various hospitals.

No word at this time on the extent of their injuries.
