KENSINGTON (WPVI) -- Police say a man in his thirties is dead after being shot in front of a home in Kensington.
It happened before 3:30 a.m. Monday in the 600 block of East Lippincott Street.
Police say someone drove up in a black 4-door sedan and fired five shots at the victim as he was talking to a woman.
He was hit once in the abdomen.
Officers rushed the man to Temple University Hospital, but doctors were not able to save him.
He was pronounced dead at 4:32 a.m.
The woman was not hit.
Police are working to identify the shooter.
