CAMDEN, N.J. (WPVI) -- Students, teachers and school district officials in Camden gathered Monday to hopefully make what they say is a much needed change.
The grassroots organization "The Village" sponsored a walk that started at Camden High School.
The more than 2 mile trek was to show people firsthand what Camden students confront every day on the street to and from school.
Students who live less than 2 and half miles from their school are not provided a bus.
While nearby communities, like in Gloucester Township offer buses for students that live as close as a half-mile.
