Surveillance shows city vehicle thief in Juniata Park

JUNIATA PARK (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police want to know if you recognize the man in this surveillance video.

They say he stole a city vehicle from a municipal parking lot along Whitaker Avenue in Juniata Park last Thursday.

After several tries, the suspect found a car that he could steal and he took off.

It turns out the employee who drove that car was inside the building when it was stolen.
