Fire traps residents on house roof in East Oak Lane

EAST OAK LANE (WPVI) -- Fire briefly trapped residents on the roof porch of a home in Philadelphia's East Oak Lane Neighborhood.

The fire started around 1:15 a.m. Tuesday on the 100 block of North Sparks Street.

Eventually everyone made it out of the home safely.

Firefighters placed the blaze under control.

No serious injuries were reported.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
