New health and social services center

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Wilmington residents have a new place to get a birth certificate.

They cut the ribbon on the Delaware department of health and social services new vital statistics satellite service center.

It's main purpose will be to provide families with birth records in order to enroll their child in kindergarten.

Many Wilmington families had a real challenge getting transportation to the main office in Newark.
