The power to save a life

SPRING GARDEN (WPVI) -- A number of Philadelphia schools are now better equipped in case of a medical emergency.

The Louis T Savino Foundation gave the school district 10 Automatic Emergency Difibrillators Wednesday.

The defibrillators will be put in elementary schools.

NFL player Jahri Evans, who is a Frankford High grad, stepped up to help out too.

He matched the foundation's donation.

Organizers are working toward a goal of making sure every school district building has a working AED.
