Ryan Howard read along

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- The rain Wednesday didn't damper a field trip for three thousand local kids.

Elementary school children from across the Delaware Valley went to Citizens Bank Park for the first ever, Little Rhino Read along.

It was hosted by Phillies Ryan Howard and his foundation.

Other players and the Phanatic helped make the book come alive and acted out some of the scenes.

All this before they took on the Cubs.
