Cousins play basketball game on busy Houston roadway

HOUSTON (WPVI) -- In Texas, drivers were stuck and angry while pranksters played a game of hoops in the middle of a busy intersection.

Two men played a game with a child's basketball net on one of the busiest roads in Houston.

Traffic came to a screeching halt except for those who tried to swerve around the game, some just barely missing the men.

"That was not funny. My heart literally dropped, that was so scary. That was horrible," witness Lovie Williams said.

"They need to stop. You don't do things like that," witness Maurice Edwards said.

One of the men has offered an apology.

He says he and his cousin performed the stunt because they thought it was funny and wanted to make a viral video.
