The incident happened around 4:45 a.m. Thursday on the 1000 block of West Ruscomb Street.

Police say suspects were captured on surveillance video attempting to enter the China Garden Restaurant.

After several fail attempts, the two men, allegedly entered the residence by climbing on a roof, and prying off the steel bars on a rear second floor window.

Police say the men were armed with handguns and flashlights.

They woke up the victims saying, "Don't say anything, we don't want to kill you."

Police say the suspects pushed the victims' heads against the wall, and demanded money.

They searched the residence for money. They made off with an unknown amount of money, a purse containing identification, keys, a school bag, two cell phones, an iPad, Dell laptop, and several cartons of cigarettes.

Police say they fled the area in a dark colored four door vehicle heading north on 10th Street.
