HARRISBURG, Pa. -- Pennsylvania State Sen. Larry Farnese was arraigned Friday in a vote buying scheme.

Farnese and Democratic Party official, Ellen Chapman, both entered not guilty pleas.

Farnese and Chapman were charged last month with conspiracy, mail and wire fraud.

Prosecutors say Farnese paid for the study abroad program for Chapman's daughter, in exchange for Chapman's support in a ward leader election.
