Labelle, Gamble and Huff honored

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- The 2016 Marian Anderson award has a Philadelphia flavor.

Music legends Patti Labelle, and the producing power of Kenny Gamble and Leon Huff, are the recipients.

Mayor Jim Kenney helped make the announcement.

Labelle and Gamble are from Philadelphia.

Huff is from Camden.

Their iconic careers will be honored on November 15th at the Kimmel Center.

Marian Anderson was a legendary Philadelphia musician herself.
