MAST Community Charter Class of 2016

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- More than a hundred high school students took the next step on their journey through life Friday in Northeast Philadelphia.

MAST Community Charter School held its graduation ceremony.

Holy Family University hosted the event for 101 high school seniors.

85 percent of them are going to college, and they've received a total of 6 million dollars in scholarships.

Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney was the speaker at the ceremony.
