Police are looking for the hit-and-run driver who allegedly ran into a person riding a bicycle in Haddon Township, New Jersey.

HADDON TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- Police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a man who was struck by a hit-and-run driver while riding a bicycle in Haddon Township, New Jersey.

The crash occurred after midnight Saturday in the southbound lanes of the Black Horse Pike in the area of the Walt Whitman Bridge ramp.

Police say the man was traveling southbound on a black-and-red Mongoose mountain bicycle when he was struck.

He was rushed to Cooper University Hospital in critical condition.

The victim is described as a male of Mexican descent, 25-30 years old, 5 feet 7 inches, 180 pounds, wearing jeans, black-and-red Nike Air Jordan sneakers and a white Under Armor baseball hat.

The striking driver is facing several charges. Police have not released their identity at this time.
