GERMANTOWN (WPVI) -- It was all about family Saturday at a festival in Germantown.

The Philadelphia neighborhood celebrated Juneteenth, which started as a celebration to commemorate the end of slavery in the U.S.

Today, it's a day to honor African-American freedom and achievement.

The festival was organized by the Philadelphia Community of Leaders and its chair, Philadelphia music legend Kenny Gamble.
