World Refugee Day

PHILADELPHIA CITY HALL (WPVI) -- The city of Philadelphia officially joined in the celebration of World Refugee Day.

Representatives from the office of immigrant affairs and other advocates spoke about the importance of accepting refugees to the local community.

This comes on the heels of a new United Nations report that estimates a record 65 million people are currently seeking asylum due to global conflict.
