Police: Suspect who shot teen was high on PCP

WISSINOMING (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police say a man who shot a 17-year-old girl Wednesday night was high on PCP.

It happened in the city's Wissinoming section just after 11:00 p.m.

Officers say the suspect chased the teenager down the 5900 block of Cottage Street and opened fire.

She's now listed in stable condition at Saint Christopher's Hospital for Children.

Police arrested the alleged gunman, but won't charge him until he's no longer under the influence.
