Water main breaks in Rhawnhurst

RHAWNHURST (WPVI) -- Crews worked to fix a broken water main in the Rhawnhurst section of Northeast Philadelphia.

The break happened sometime overnight in the 2300 block of Arthur Street.

Work continued into Sunday morning.

Residents in the area were without water for a short time, but the water department has restored most of Arthur Street.

There was no word on what caused the main to break.
