A pedestrian was hit in Camden County, New Jersey.

OAKLYN, N.J. (WPVI) -- A pedestrian is hospitalized after being struck in Camden County.

It happened at 1 a.m. Monday in the 700 block of the White Horse Pike in Oaklyn.

The victim was rushed to an area hospital.

There was no immediate word on that person's condition or the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Police were talking to the driver of a silver sedan which stopped nearby.
