Opportunity Scholarships for Philadelphia students

A handful of students who've overcome adversity to pursue their education were honored today for their hard work.

GlaxoSmithKline presented five Philadelphia students with Opportunity Scholarships Wednesday afternoon in South Philadelphia.

The recipients overcame obstacles like premature birth and coming from broken homes or war-torn countries to pursue their dreams.

All are attending college this fall.
