Police: High School teacher asked teen to perform sex act

WILMINGTON (WPVI) -- New Castle County police charged a teacher with sexual solicitation of a minor.

Investigators say 34-year-old Brian Budd of Wilmington texted a 16-year-old acquaintance asking to introduce him to a 20-year-old girl.

Police say it was Budd who actually met with teen early Wednesday morning, and asked to perform a sex act on the boy.

The victim then called 911.

Budd is being held on $50,000.

He is on administrative leave from McKean High School.
