Man shot in front of Wilmington career center

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- A 26-year-old man was shot and wounded in Wilmington, Delaware.

The shooting happened around 10:48 p.m. Thursday on the 400 block of East 12th Street.

Police were close by investigating an earlier shooting when gunshots rang out.

The victim was shot in front of the Howard Career Center. He was suffering with gunshot wounds to his upper body.

Medics took him to Christiana Hospital in critical condition.

So far, no arrests or word on a motive.
