"Rhythm and Hues" mural

EAKINS OVAL (WPVI) -- Local artists are creating a giant new mural at Eakins Oval along the Ben Franklin Parkway.

We had the chance to see the work in progress Tuesday.

The painting is called Rhythm and Hues for its bright colors inspired by music.

It covers 25 thousand square feet across the ground at the Oval Beer Garden, which officially opens Friday.
